The journey takes you through a series of deep narrow gorges with sub-tropical flora clinging to the steep banks. Coach transportation takes you to Whakahoro where the boat is waiting for its 9.00am departure. We travel downriver for about 7 hours arriving at Pipiriki at 4.00 pm.
