Lunch at The Flying Fox - All Day Adventure

We depart from Wanganui at 8:00am and travel upriver for 5 hours enjoying the scenery, hearing some history and stories and climbing rapids as these boats did 100 years ago. Coffee, tea and snacks will be served as we travel.

There will be a fine lunch of organic and local foods - a view of the facilities the retreat has to offer - and a leisurely stroll through the gardens and orchards.

On the trip back we will be shooting long twisting rapids in this flat-bottomed workhorse of yesteryear whilst remaining in the comfort of a modern riverboat. We expect to dock at 6.00pm.
